To borrow the famous line from SNL, live from Manhattan Beach...it's Sunday night fireworks.

What better way to usher in the holiday season than to blow up a few hundred fireworks?  Just a short week ago, rumors served right as the annual fireworks display over the pier in Manhattan Beach took hold.

Rumors that the 2009 display would make up for a poor display last year, served true.

Great job and many thanks to the workers and city officials who made the 2009 fireworks display a success.  Let's all hope 2010 will match hightened expectations.
